We are continuing to watch the Arkansas General Assembly with awe and shame. It is taking our state backward in ways that we could never have imagined.
The idea to create two school systems: one for public schools and a second one for Charter Schools (taxpayer funded private schools). The former has guidelines that has helped Arkansas become No. 5 in the nation, the latter will drive us back to old No. 49.
It is truly a sad day in Arkansas.
